Shilo Nicolls (CEO)
Shilo Nicolls is an accomplished business leader with a deep passion for empowering others and securing financial futures through life insurance. As the CEO of Legacy Life Group LLC, her most active and personal venture, Shilo is driven by the mission to safeguard her family’s legacy and the legacies of her clients. Her journey into the life insurance industry began with a personal realization of the importance of financial security in the face of life’s uncertainties, and she has since turned this into her life’s work.
In addition to her role at Legacy Life Group, Shilo serves as Vice President of Talent Acquisition for Momentum Ventures NYC LLC and Senior Vice President of Employee Happiness (Retention) at General Marketing LLC, where she applies her leadership skills to create supportive and growth-oriented environments. She is also a Managing Member of Serendipity Family Holdings LLC, overseeing investments in the business-to-business lending sector.
At Legacy Life Group, Shilo leads a team of over 40 employees, focusing on delivering tailored insurance solutions that provide peace of mind for individuals and families. Her leadership style is rooted in a commitment to her employees’ well-being and professional development, as well as ensuring that every client is equipped to protect their financial future. Joshua Hamburg (President)
Joshua Hamburg is the President of Legacy Life Group LLC, where he proudly shares in Shilo Nicolls’ bold vision for redefining the insurance industry. Together, they are excited to expand yet another thriving brand, focusing on delivering exceptional services and creating lasting impact.
In addition to his role at Legacy Life Group, Joshua leads Czar Marketing Group LLC, a powerhouse in the timeshare ownership business that employs 300 people and generates millions in annual sales. His family office, operating through Czar Holdings LLC and Hamburg Family Holdings LLC,continues to manage significant investments. Joshua also serves as Chairman of Minneapolis Mutual Investment Corporation,guiding substantial investment ventures with a strategic focus.
As the Managing Member of Serendipity Family Holdings LLC and President of Serendipity Asset Recovery Group LLC, Joshua oversees billions of dollars in class action settlement claims. His background includes a successful tenure on Wall Street, where as a licensed Series 7 and 63 broker, he played a pivotal role in private placements and IPOs for over 30 companies.
Joshua’s business acumen extends beyond finance. As Vice President of New Business and Sales at Citywide Management,a premier real estate firm in New York, he was instrumental in structuring major acquisitions, including the procurement of 3,600 Brooklyn apartments at an average of $22,000 per unit. His efforts have shaped numerous real estate transactions across New York City.
Joshua’s career highlights also include serving as CFO of **Mesquite Entertainment Group LLC, where he spearheaded capital raises for the California-based film company, and leading Taxivision Marketing as Senior VP, a company later sold to Clear Channel Communications. His earlier ventures include founding and managing JJJ Marketing,employing over 150 sales agents in the vacation and telecom industries.
